Christmas Music – Past and Present

Lights have been hung, the tree has been trimmed and gift shopping has (almost) been completed. The holiday season is in full swing! One of the best parts about this time of year is the music. Whether from the 1950s or 2014, there are so many beautiful Christmas songs that spread joy, happiness and peace through their melodies and lyrics. Here are some of our favorites:

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas – Judy Garland
A beautiful woman, a beautiful song and a beautiful movie.

The Christmas Song  – Frank Sinatra
Frank Sinatra’s voice…need we say more?

Run Run Rudolph – Chuck Berry
We can’t help but tap our feet to this catchy Christmas tune.

I’ll Be Home For Christmas – Elvis Presley and Carrie Underwood
This is by far one of the coolest mash-ups we’ve ever heard. If only Elvis and Carrie were actually able to sing together in real life! They’d make a great duo.

O Holy Night – David Phelps
Yes, our jaws drop every time David hits that last note, too. So amazing!

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas – Andrew Belle
Andrew’s soothing voice and soft piano bring a subtle twist to this classic song.

We hope you enjoy this playlist as much as we do!
Happy Holidays from all of us at Isinglass, to all of you!
